About the Website

A few years ago our team was about to launch a great concept website for vendors that had a great online cart that you could use as a mobile cart, but as I was leading a project for a site, I found a critical error which took the developers nearly two years to fix, and while many people were doing nothing during #covin, our team was not only fixing the issue but working on a the new Joomla 4 version.

However, some of our components failed to meet the new version requirements forcing us to locate replacement components, this is our way of giving back to those developers that have been instrumental in this relaunch.

Joomla 4 is the core of the site. It is the coding framework that allows us to have a fast secure site, that can be easily expanded for your specific needs. Our site started with the core. The redesign is excellent. I had zero trouble bringing up a basic site.

Akeeba Backup is the next important part of your site. If you have your site configured correctly, if you go down this will make the restoration process much easier.

Stock Template is what I had to choose from at first. I loved YouJoomla! and the Grid system they used on their template framework, but they haven't updated the core component, I would get back to this later.

JEvents is new to the team, again the JEM team still has not released a version for Joomla4 so we moved to the next best thing. It is not configured yet, but installed.

Joomla Article Was the next step in getting the Pirates Guide (an advertising game) that is centered around some theme or event. We have the base map configured and some interesting places already listed.

Gantry Template Framework and Helium Template is an easy and not buggy for us template engine. Once we started looking at the logic, we all agree this is well done.
